Credit and Collections Specialist

Cansel is seeking an experienced Credit and Collection Specialist will be responsible for the prompt conversion of receivables into cash, while providing a high level of service to our external and internal customers.

About you:
  • Experienced Business to Business Collection Skills. 
  • Excellent communication skills
  • Ability to understand standard business processes and work with customers to satisfy their business needs and requirements  
  • Proficient with Microsoft Excel and ERP systems
  • Autonomous, friendly, handles fast-paced environments well
  • Ability to reconcile accounts
  • Expert in the use of periodic aged Accounts Receivable reports to identify potential problematic customer accounts.
  • Comfortable with making decisions on when to use appropriate steps to minimize past due accounts, including placing customers on credit hold, based on a sound evaluation of a customer's ability to repay.
  • Able to accurately capture the reasons for late payment and escalate within the organisation to help achieve a timely resolution.

Bonus Points:
  • French fluency is an asset
  • Experience with SalesForce, Smartsheet, and SAP is preferred
