Salesforce Business Analyst – Head Office or Montreal
Cansel currently has an opening for a Salesforce Business Analyst to join our IT team at our Head Office. The successful candidate will have a strong understanding of Salesforce, CRM data, and reporting.  As part of a small team there is a need to wear multiple hats and have an interest to extend beyond Salesforce. As part of the Business Solutions team you will work closely with stakeholders to ensure alignment of technical solutions that support business needs.

 In this role, you will:
  • Engage users to understand desired business outcomes and define success criteria
  • Guide users through the implementation of Salesforce solutions and operational changes
  • Articulate to users the value of recommended solutions and approach
  • Lead discovery and requirements sessions to uncover business, functional, and technological requirements
  • Synthesize requirements to create clear and comprehensive user stories and design documentation
  • Perform fit-gap analysis between Salesforce functionality and user requirements
  • Design clean, innovative Salesforce solutions involving: configuration of Salesforce and Managed Packages, data modeling, business process automation, and other custom functionality
  • Draft custom development specifications and manage the delivery and testing of the functionality by Development resources
  • Iterate on solutions through a Build/Test/Review cycle with stakeholders
  • Support the development and augmentation of our training curriculum and delivery of training to end users
  • Create and maintain fields, views, reports, dashboards, campaigns and other Salesforce objects and functions
  • Responsible for overall user access/security, visual layout, and workflow rules within Salesforce
  • Mentor and support our Junior System Administrator in day to day administration of data and system integrity
About you:
  • Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or equivalent experience
  • In-depth knowledge of the standard capabilities of SFDC, Salesforce Administrator Certification strongly preferred
  • 2-3 years of Salesforce administration experience required
  • 2-3 years functional/business/system analysis or equivalent experience required
  • Experience in re-engineering / updating existing Salesforce configuration and implementing complex Salesforce Solutions
  • Experience working on a project team ideally using agile methodology
