Senior Customer Service/Admin – Head Office (Burnaby)
We are looking for an individual to help grow and automate Can-Net, a subscription-based service offered by Cansel.
Can-Net is a Virtual Reference Station Network, which delivers GPS data for real-time corrections and post-processed applications to a wide range of customers in the surveying and mapping communities. We are the industry leader and provide fast and precise coverage, that is unmatched as we have over 300 permanent base stations across the country. We partner with telecommunication providers (Rogers and Bell) to help our clients benefit from the best networks.
In this role, you will:
  • Monitor current subscriptions & renew expiring ones
  • Create new accounts & cancel inactive accounts
  • Assign SIM cards and update the Rogers and/or Bell online portals (customers require data plans)
  • Communicate over the phone or email with customers to explain details of their subscription or billing
  • Work with our Sales team to resolves and address issues with a customer’s plan
  • Use Salesforce, SAP and Excel to analyze and manage data
  • Update and improve our SKU system
  • Future projects include integrating this service with our e-commerce platform
About you:
  • Post-secondary education or relevant work experience
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills
  • Knowledge of Microsoft Office tools, or the ability to learn and master these tools
  • Strong analytical & problem solving skills to resolve subscription or billing issues
  • Excellent organizational skills and high level of comfort handling details
  • Ability to think creatively and adapt well to change
Bonus Points:
  • Previous experience in customer service dealing with a subscription based service (e.g. telecommunications, utilities, software’s etc.)
  • SAP and/or Salesforce experience (or other CRM or ERP experience)
