Account Manager - Ontario

SolidCAD is looking to fill an immediate position within our Infrastructure sales team as an Account Manager for Autodesk Civil Engineering solutions.

In this position, the Account Manager drives sales revenue and market development of Autodesk Civil Engineering solutions, including Engineering, Survey and GIS integration.  The role is responsible for continued growth within an established customer base and new customer development. The candidate will be responsible for accounts in Ontario.

In this role you will:
  • Plan and execute selling strategies to grow the revenue base and to form strong relationships with customers, partners, and other internal sales teams.
  • Attend regular customer meetings, events and training.
  • Collaborate with marketing and team members to run/attend events in line with company growth strategies, become familiar with sales promotions, and provide guidance on business planning on an ongoing basis.
  • Act as a representative of SolidCAD and give presentations to client groups.
  • Strong independent self-starter.
  • Ability to foster strong workplace relationships to create a positive work environment.

About you:
Qualifications needed to become a successful Account Manager:
  • Demonstrated software sales experience in a B2B environment.
  • Excellent communications (written and verbal) and presentation skills with the ability to articulate compelling ideas.
  • Able to travel 75% within your assigned territory.  Access to major airport.
  • Good team player and time manager who possesses proven organizational and multitasking skills.
  • Ability to work independently and in a structured, disciplined sales environment.
  • Energetic and talented individual who loves to sell.
  • Education Level:  College or higher or equivalent or industry experience preferred.
  • Field of Study:  Engineering, Sales or similar.
  • Knowledge acquired in engineering services is a value.
